| maybe Gene Roddenberry had seen the future when he created Star Trek in 1966. When I was a kid I would have loved to of had a Phaser or a Tricorder. Today people have made these devices with ease. A working burning laser out of a pocket pointer? Probably from 1966 to 1995 no one could have believed that an average person with parts from his local electronics store and a few tools from home could accomplish that. |

Yet here we are standing in the middle of yesterdays sci-fi mysteries looking at things writers and authors created from their minds, the very things that we all thought were impossible and far fetched, now popping up everywhere. The mind "light years ahead of our time." I would like to say thank you to all who have read my book, Ancestors and for your continuous support. It's definitely not an easy task for a writer to create a story out of thin air and I'm so glad many of you liked my novel. I would also like to give thanks to the many talented authors of the world who gave me the inspiration to press forward. The creation of the Science Fiction Novel "Ancestors" was achieved by a writing a few hours almost every night, excluding the odd month that I would get side tracked with life and work having to force myself to say "Stacey, just write for a few more hours and you'll be done." Finally after about two years of hard work and a lot of guilty distractions (TV The Computer, Camping & Quadding) the Ancestors novel was finally completed. I really enjoyed writing Ancestors considering that it really opened up my eyes to the conspiracy theories of the world! I do wish that I could have added more to the book on the way of those conspiracies but then a person never knows how close to the truth fiction may become and the last thing I need is a knock on my door by a few men in black.
